**Assembly Painter
- 6 month contract**

The Assembly Painter is responsible for the cleaning, preparation, and painting of all parts and assemblies.

Primary Job Duties
- Maintains safe operations at all times and ensure all regulatory and company QHSE standards and practices are adhered to.
- Responsible for ensuring all company quality, safety, procedures are followed
- Plans work by studying work orders, bill of materials, and specifications.
- Clean and prep all parts and assemblies for painting
- Complete all required Quality System Procedures and documentation
- Package products for shipment
- Assist with other Assembly area duties such as, picking and staging parts for workorders, assist with assembly of parts, pressure testing activities, as well as shipping and receiving activites.
- Participates in continuous improvement initiatives as directed by management
- Assists with preventative maintenance program on all machinery;

**Responsibilities**:

- Practice workplace professionalism
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Start all shifts and end-all breaks punctually
- Accurately interpret and carry out directions from work orders and verbal instructions
- Operate lifting devices and forklifts
- Fill out quality forms
- Maintain high-quality standards
- Work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines assigned by management
- Routinely lift and move materials up to 50lbs, perform physically repetitive tasks, stand for extended periods
- Communicate effectively with co-workers and be a team player
- Steel-toed safety boots required

Experience Qualifications and Related Skills or Requirements:

- Previous experience with painting in an industrial setting
- Previous experience with assembly and testing of mechanical assemblies or components desirable

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months

**Salary**: $22.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week

- Industrial Painting: 1 year (preferred)
