As a Communications Coordinator within the Communications team at Pomerleau Construction, you will play a crucial role in maintaining excellence in internal communications and engaging the company's employees. Your responsibilities will be vital in overseeing and carrying out essential tasks for the team's smooth operations. As a strategic thinker, you will implement various strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the implementation of employee engagement initiatives, including distributing recognition awards, designing trophies, drafting communications, and gathering photos.
  • Support in organizing events within the Communications team's mandate, managing logistics, registrations, reservations, promotional materials, invoicing, and budget monitoring.
  • Independently oversee diverse projects, collaborate with the graphics studio, and utilize expertise from different team areas. Also, assist in distributing posters at job sites.
  • Support team members in composing, translating, and publishing various communications such as appointment notifications, project details, memorials, organizational surveys, and the rollout of new policies and posters.
  • Follow up with team members to compile content, create newsletter layouts, and distribute them.

Qualifications

  • Technical diploma or university degree in communications, administration, or marketing.
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
  • Experience and comfort in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in both written and verbal French and English.
  • Familiarity with SharePoint, Wrike, and Canva (preferred).
