About the Role:


At Uber Transit, we believe that public transportation is well into the stages of a massive transformation that will play out over the course of the decade.

Public transportation is the backbone by which cities and towns move. The role of public transportation agencies is changing, shifting from operating transportation to mobility management.


We work with partners to enable technology solutions that allow public transportation systems to transform from decentralized networks, where different modes can often operate in silos, toward a system that is truly integrated, connected, and optimized in a highly agile way (for more, see our Transit vision paper).


As part of the Transit Ops team, you will be responsible for working with a team that implements technology solutions for transit and transportation partners.

In this role, you will partner closely with our Sales, Engineering, Product, and Customer Success teams.

What You'll Do:

  • Work in a fastpaced environment, on dynamic transitrelated projects beginning with smaller implementations to increasingly complex efforts.
  • Manage multiple stakeholders through a full project implementation cycle.
  • Work with existing clients to advise on new use cases and how they can expand their use of the Uber Platform
  • Pull data and analytics to support both Transit Operations & Sales
  • Ability to use internal and external data tools in order to extract and model data as required

Basic Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of operations, implementation, analytics, consulting, or other related experience
  • Proficiency with SQL
  • Bachelors Degree

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of operations, implementation, analytics, consulting, or other related experience
  • Prior Transit experience is a plus
  • Experience in the technology industry
  • Customer obsessed Relentlessly thinking about building an outstanding experience for all our partners and internal customers
  • Experience problemsolving and passion for prioritizing and deconstructing sophisticated problems
  • Experience working with large sets of unstructured data and synthesizing into business insights (e.g., using SQL, Excel)
  • Collaborator management skills with experience working in diverse, crossfunctional and global environments.
