KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Strategic Planning

  • Oversee the strategy for development and execution of production for pointofsale materials, ensuring timely and costeffective production and tracking while maintaining quality standards aligned with Direct Store Delivery Execution (DSDE).
  • Play a leadership role in working with marketing, sales, and design teams to develop impactful pointofsale material requirements, including corrugate displays, signage, coupons, and promotional items.
  • Create a tracking system for POS and displays.

Vendor Management

  • Lead relationships with vendors, suppliers, and production partners. Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements to optimize costefficiency.
  • Explore and implement sustainable and ecofriendly practices in the production and distribution of assets.
  • Work with procurement team to ensure optimal quality at the right cost.
  • Work with Global vendors to gain efficiencies across Grupo Bimbo.

Production

  • Oversee the planning and development of timely and costeffective production of pointofsale materials and displays while maintaining quality standards.
  • Oversee the proofing and approval process for all materials to ensure accuracy and brand compliance.
  • Maintain strict quality control standards for all pointofsale materials, including displays, signage, and promotional materials.
  • Ensure all pointofsale materials are best in class and comply with regulatory and industry standards.
  • Optimize the coupon process in working with the Retail Marketing Specialist.
  • Develop and roll out a display and racking catalogue to improve efficiency, save costs and drive out waste.

Distribution & Logistics

  • Develop a process and communication strategy to ensure pointofsale materials are delivered to the right locations, including sales centres, events, and trade shows.
  • Ensure shipments are tracked to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
  • Work closely with Regional Execution Managers on the development of display initiatives (optimal sizing, inventory packout, substrates & design).

Inventory Management

  • Maintain an organized and uptodate inventory catalog of pointof sale materials to meet the demands of various sales channels and locations.
  • Implement inventory control measures to minimize waste and loss.
  • Monitor inventory levels, and reorder materials as necessary to prevent outofstocks.
  • Oversee the storage, inventory, and distribution of pointofsale materials to sales centres, minimizing waste and ensuring accurate stock levels.
  • Prepare regular reports on production and distribution metrics, including costs, delivery times, and inventory levels.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

  • Proven experience in print production and distribution
  • 5+ years of experience working with merchandising displays and fixtures ideally in Consumer-Packaged Goods
  • Strong understanding of the grocery landscape in Canada
  • University degree, ideally in Business and/or Marketing
  • Experience working with direct reports
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Superior negotiation and vendor management skills
  • Knowledge of sustainable production practices and environmental standards is an asset
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud is an asset
  • Strong problemsolving abilities and attention to detail
  • Effective communication and leadership skills
  • Willingness to travel as needed to oversee production and distribution operations
