Aon is seeking an enthusiastic and results - driven individual to join our team as an Associate Account Executive.

As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions as part of our client sales and service business group within Aon Risk Solutions, reporting into the London, Ontario office.

This role has the flexibility to be performed from our London office, fully remotely or as a hybrid working model based in London or any of our other Aon offices.

What the day will look like
As a key member of the Client Service Team, providing first level client contact for Aon Clients;
Assisting the Account Executive with the renewal process.
Being trained to be able to ensure client files are updated and maintained. This includes making direct requests for information from clients and handling client inquiries regarding those requests;
Serving as the internal contact point on all aspects of account activity. Collaborating closely with clients to receive and provide relevant information, with occasional direct Client facing at the direction of the Account Executive;
Under the direction of Account Executives, servicing existing client's portfolio, defining routine surety issues and providing first level advice on resolution of issues;
Assisting Account Executive in maintaining client service (ie. prompting meetings, relationship building events, etc.);
Assisting Account Executive in new business initiatives (ie. coordinating dissemination of marketing material, assisting in developing new business strategies and account penetration);

Skills and experience that will lead to success
Minimum of two (2) years of commercial insurance experience is preferred;
Working towards CIP and/or CAIB and /or related insurance designations.
Meticulous attention to detail, refined interpersonal skills and the ability to multi-task;
Have excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, both verbally and written;
Ability to learn and to work collaboratively as a key member of a team and independently with minimum supervision;
Proven ability to prioritize challenging requirements;
Ability to work with diverse and remote teams;
Team oriented self-starter with ability to coordinate, prioritize, monitor and control workflow deadlines and be flexible;
Strong computer skills and be proficient with the Microsoft Office package.
