What The Role Looks Like


As an Account Executive you will be responsible for generating and converting sales opportunities within a defined segment, cultivating prospect relationships, and working directly with key prospect stakeholders to close deals.

You will be come a champion of the FlexPay product, utilizing your knowledge of our product and the payments industry to guide prospects through the sales funnel.

A day in the life of this position includes

  • Identifying opportunities and establishing relationships with decision makers.
  • Managing full funnel sales cycle including prospecting, educating and contract negotiations.
  • Relaying the FlexPay value proposition to prospects in a way that is clear, concise, and relevant to each individual prospect company, while showing an understanding of the prospects pain points and needs.
  • Becoming an expert in our product, and the payments landscape, staying up to date on the latest trends and competitors in the market space.
  • Using a consultative sales approach to ensure prospects understand FlexPay's offerings.
  • Customizing presentations to the pain points of prospects, ensuring sales approaches are modified as needed.
  • Using SalesForce to record and update all sales activity, progress, and pipeline.
  • Developing and sharing ongoing sales best practices.
  • Partnering with the Marketing team to execute sales cycles of inbound and targeted outbound prospects.

You are a driven and curious account executive, with well-honed fact finding and discovery skills. You don't shy away from a challenge and thrive on hitting and exceeding targets.

You are a resilient, well-spoken individual contributor who is eager to make a mark on our small and dynamic team.


What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years of direct SaaS B2B sales experience in a quota driven environment.
  • Experience in FinTech or Payments an asset.
  • Excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to quickly learn and communicate technical concepts.
  • Strong lead generations and outreach abilities.
  • Experience working with or interest in Machine Learning/AI an asset.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience using SalesForce.
  • Strong technical aptitude.
  • Excellent relationship management skills
  • A selfstarter driven by success with attention to detail
  • An adaptive learner who always strives for challenges
  • Outside of the box thinking, someone who is not afraid to ask questions and look for new/different solutions.
