Position Summary:

Greenworks is looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to further grow its Greenworks brand.

This position will have an active role in the monthly reporting and analysis, ad hoc reporting, budgeting, forecasting and projections.

ey Responsibilities:

  • Timely and accurate processing of expenses/invoices to the correct accounts and cost centers
  • Coordinate AP processing with various departments and maintain records for account payables
  • Prepare accounts payable aging report for weekly check disbursements and review check run proposal with the Controller
  • Respond to all vendor and employee inquiries regarding invoices, expenses, and check requests; resolves invoice discrepancies
  • Administer and monitor expense reimbursements in according to corporate expense policy
  • Process and record manual disbursements as needed
  • Ensure organizational compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls
  • Dedication to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process
  • Assist accounting teams on various projects and other general accounting and monthend close duties as assigned
  • Maintain historical records by scanning and filing documents.
  • Serve as the backup for Accounts Receivable.
  • Assist with related special projects, as required.
  • Participate in month end closing activities.
  • Participate in yearly external audits.
  • Develop, maintain, and distribute adhoc reports and financial models as needed.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 35 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Banking, or Collections.
  • 3 years SAP End User Experience
  • Ability to perform a volume of numerical detail work with speed and accuracy.
  • Selfstarter who is motivated, flexible and must work well in a team.
  • Capable of multitasking.
  • Ensures accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of transactions.
  • Must be able to work flexible work schedule Mon-Friday.

Education & Certification:

  • Associate degree required in Finance/Accounting
  • SAP FICO Certification
  • SAP MM / SD / PP Certification
