Job Description

Status: Temporary Full-time
Hours per week: 35 hours
Salary: $ - $ per hour
Length of Contract: 2 Years

Coordinates the assigned program portfolio(s) meeting all administrative needs Coordinates the implementation of new courses Ensures the needs of instructors and students are met for effective course operations Complies and communicates course evaluations Provides administrative support to the Continuing Education Department and managers Participates in the development and implementation of departmental initiatives for marketing, quality, etc Prepares contracts, invoices, laboratory and catering orders, etc. Develops and maintains department electronic and paper-based records Handles sensitive and confidential matters relating to the daily activities of the office Provides support to other Program Assistants/ programs as needed Maintains positive interdepartmental relationships Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

2-3 years working experience in a similar role Post-secondary degree or diploma Health care background and understanding of scope of health care professionals an asset Exhibits initiative, flexibility and judgment Strong organizational skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong customer/student-focus Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and possess an eye for detail Ability to function in a high-performance, deadline-oriented office Good critical thinking, independent problem-solving and decision-making skills Advanced knowledge of MS office suite Word, Excel and PowerPoint Knowledge of the Blackboard Learning Management system a definite asset Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
