Administrative Assistant/Bookkeeper
We are looking for a Junior Administrative Assistant/Bookkeeper with a minimum of 1 year experience to join our growing team.
In this role, you will provide reception and administrative support, preparing reports, proposals, reception duties such as answering phones, mail, couriers, and greeting clients as well as helping the Office Manager with bookkeeping as needed.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Provide administrative and accounting assistance
- Receive and send out courier packages and mail
- Answer phones and greet guests
Other Responsibilities and requirements:
- Good working knowledge of MS Office Programs (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- 1 year of administrative experience
- 1 year of bookkeeping experience
- A strong work ethic, positive attitude and willingness to take initiatives
- Valid Class 5 driver's license
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Post secondary education in accounting would be considered an asset
- Previous experience in an engineering, architectural or construction firm would be considered an asset
Office hours are Monday to Friday 8:30 and 4:30. Our office will be moving to Oak Bluff (60 South Landing) in June, no bus service available.
