Your future duties and responsibilities

On a typical day, you will perform the following tasks:

  • Advise and answer questions from Paymasters and Customer Service Advisors
  • Handle more complex customer queries
  • Advise master payrolls and customer service advisors on payroll matters
  • Plan and organize your work to meet expectations and deadlines
  • Act as a resource person to answer queries
  • Identify situations requiring urgent attention and route problems and requests to the appropriate resources when necessary
  • Support advisors and paymasters on technical aspects not mastered during the call
  • Contribute to knowledge sharing within the team
  • Work closely with other teams
  • Identify and document problems encountered, issues raised and proposed solutions.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role

  • College diploma in administration, accounting or a related field, or any other combination of relevant education and experience
  • 3+ years payrollrelated experience
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Excellent problemsolving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills in French and English.
  • Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Internet navigation
  • Knowledge of the various products, solutions and contributions used by our customers, such as: CCQ, Report Generator, General Ledger Interface, etc.
  • Training in Understanding Payroll Principles and Mastering Payroll Legislation from Cégep Ahuntsic or S.C.P. Certification from the Canadian Payroll Association (CPA).


Bilingualism (French and English) is required for this position due to the nature of the role requiring interaction with national and global clients.
