more.**West Park Healthcare Centre helps patients get their lives back by through the provision of specialized rehabilitation and complex continuing care services and a continuum of inpatient, outpatient and outreach care and treatment. West Park's 27-acre site is being transformed into an integrated campus of care, including a new hospital and additional community based services focused on seniors and people living with disabilities.

Job Overview:


Reporting to the Director HR, the Coordinator, HR Operations is responsible for the People and Culture Service Centre operations and service delivery.

This includes the efficient processing of employee and employment events, benefits administration, compensation administration, leaves of absence administration, onboarding, and employee enquiries and services.

This role is crucial in ensuring efficient, effective and compliant services to our employees and new hires.

Accountabilities:

  • Facilitate the endtoend onboarding process for new hires ensuring a seamless and positive experience, in partnership with the Talent Acquisition team.
  • Ensure onboarding documentation is complete and compliant.
  • Collaborate with various departments to coordinate orientation sessions.
  • Administer employee benefits and compensation programs, including health, dental, HOOPP and leaves of absence.
  • Oversee annual professional license verification processes and documentation.
  • Process employment and employee events including, hire, transfers, promotion, termination, retirement.
  • Administer leaves of absences, including maternity, parental, family, and other statutory leaves, ensuring compliance with legislation, policy and collective agreements.
  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of employee records.
  • Develop and document processes and procedures for existing and new programs and services.
  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation and collective agreements in Operation Centre processes and documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Under graduate degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent
  • Designation or certification in Human Resources, Benefits, Compensation, Labour or other related discipline would be an asset
  • At least 3 years' experience in HR Operations, Records, Administration and service delivery in a fast paced environment
  • Detailed knowledge of employment legislation
  • Experience in a heavily unionized environment, preferably in the hospital sector
  • Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook), Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), and related enterprise systems.
  • Strong initiative, resourceful and comfortable navigating in ambiguous situations
  • Strong interpersonal skills, adept at building partnerships across all internal and external stakeholders
  • A strong customer service focus
  • Analytical with a problemsolving mindset, leveraging people data for business insights
  • Initiates improvements and takes personal accountability for highquality work
  • Organized with exceptional attention to detail and effective prioritization skills
