Job Description About the role**:

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Design and implement functionality to existing AXIS valuation models in support of changes or enhancements for numerous economic and solvency regimes including Canada (LICAT), US (RBC), Bermuda (BSCR), Europe (Solvency II), and internal economic capital.
  • Assist in designing and implementing appropriate control framework to ensure governance and risk requirements are met
  • Support internal and external stakeholders in regulatory capitalrelated deliverables (e.g. industry outreach, impact assessments)
  • Contribute to ongoing assessment of solvency capital positions under base and sensitivity scenarios in support of annual FCT and ORSA processes.
  • Participate in annual financial and capital planning exercise
  • Investigate and implement process improvements including design, testing, and documentation.

Qualifications About you**:

  • Ability to work in a crossfunctional team environment
  • Demonstrated analytical, problem identification and resolution skills with attention to detail
  • High degree of accountability and professional ethics
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and effective communicator (written and oral)
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments communicating prioritizations to required levels
  • Highest degree of personal competence (selfawareness, selfmanagement)

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Fellow or nearFellow of the Society of Actuaries or equivalent actuarial designation
  • 5+ years of life insurance / reinsurance experience is preferred
  • Industry experience with Capital regimes is an asset
  • Experience modeling in AXIS is preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with expertise in Excel
