The Opportunity

Manulife is seeking an Actuarial Specialist/Actuarial Analyst to contribute to various financial optimization projects under IFRS17 and RBC, aiding Manulife in staying ahead in the competitive market.

On the job you will:

  • Participate in a wide range of financial optimization initiatives for both existing and new business portfolios, including par management, reinsurance, investment, policy review, and modeling enhancements.
  • Enhance pricing and valuation models.
  • Contribute to designing and enhancing compensation structures for agency based on experience, supporting key channel initiatives.

We are looking for someone with:

  • University degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related fields, with progress in actuarial examinations from a recognized actuarial organization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
