Administrator, Production Logistics


The Chicken Farmers of Ontario's (CFO) Administrator, Production Logistics will be responsible for assisting the Analyst, Production Logistics with farmer allotment and allocation and support industry modular loading transformation activities.

Providing excellent customer service, knowledge of the modular loading lifecycle and strong understanding of CFO support processes.

Allotment Process and Productivity Optimization

Support the Analyst, Production Logistics with the following:

  • Process documentation, allotment in SAP/ERP and outputs of the farmer allotment which includes:
- cancellation of contracts between farmers and processors (Form 201),
- review changes to farmer contracting information (Form 101N), assess the request, and ensure that the requested change is within CFO policies and regulations, dialogue with farmers on the impact of the change(s) (e.g. the viability to their operation and the potential outcome) and enter the request into the system

  • Phase 1 contracting (Form 101) whereby Form 101N changes are completed with the submission of the Form 10 assigning farmers from the No Processor listing to a processor and ensuring completion of the contracting process with the submission of a Form 101 to coincide with a previously submitted Form 101N
  • Implement board decisions in ERP
  • SAP with respect to farmer allotment while maintaining the integrity of the system, e.g. introduction of new crop cycles, crop quota reductions, etc.
  • Help maintain, innovate and continuously optimize the supply management and allotment processes while ensuring the stability of the system
  • Assist in development of production planning educational materials for CFO meetings and website

Customer Care

Support the Analyst, Production Logistics with the following:

  • Respond to farmer inquiries with respect to CFO policies and regulations
  • Educate and clarify to farmer all post allotment inquiries, e.g. net allotment components, allotment limitations and any components of the Schedule 1 that comprises the Net Allotment
  • Track and report customer care issues
  • Deliver customer service best management practices for internal and external stakeholders

Data Management and Diagnostics

  • Perform SAP/ECC system checks on a continual basis to ensure that a high level of quality and accuracy is maintained
  • Check to ensure syncing of farmer information between ECC and Client Relationship Management systems
  • Work closely with external contractors to identify, troubleshoot and ensure resolution of SAP system issues as they relate to Contracting, Farmer Allotment and Market Development
  • Educate CFO staff on the use of the centralized SAP environment as it relates to the above

Market Development

  • Enter processor volume and discount requests into SAP
  • Send "Notice of Market Development Assessment" to participating farmers
  • Manage and oversee the collection and processing of market development assessment payments
  • Send two separate levels of "Notices of Penalty Assessment" to farmers regarding 21 and 42day late payments and follow up to ensure payments are received in a timely manner according to policy requirements
  • Reconcile and forward payments to processors participating in Market Development

Modular Loading Support

  • Provide support to farmers and processors in the execution of the modular loading regulatory lifecycle process
  • Provide excellent customer service in the resolution of issues and as required, escalate information requests and complicated issues to the appropriate resource including Subject Matter Experts and Farming Operations Representatives
  • Engage Farming Operations Representatives as required for onfarm inspection and approval proces
