We are in search of a Rope Access Logistics Coordinator

Duties & Responsibilities:

The Logistics Coordinator is accountable for:

  • Managing end-to-end construction project logistics
  • Planning, organizing, and overseeing operational logistics for commercial and industrial construction projects
  • Providing project planning support, including confirming access, rigging, lifting considerations, and selecting suitable equipment
  • Coordinating with project teams, field services, and other departments to ensure tasks are completed on time
  • Conducting project mobilization and demobilization
  • Liaising with field personnel for project logistics and responding to client requirements
  • Managing rental equipment and coordinating all project bookings and accommodations
  • Resolving logistics challenges as they arise throughout the project cycle
  • Collaborating with Operations to ensure smooth business functions
  • Traveling to various project locations as needed

Management of Warehouse & Operations Assets:

  • Overseeing operational assets including equipment, tools, rentals, and vehicles
  • Maintaining a well-organized warehouse
  • Optimizing warehouse layout to maximize space utilization
  • Purchasing inventory items and resolving discrepancies
  • Assigning tasks to team members and managing deliveries
  • Maintaining equipment software and overseeing maintenance and inspections

Inventory Support:

  • Assisting with inventory counts and transfers
  • Receiving and tracking inventory items
  • Supporting employee onboarding and professional development
  • Reporting work hours for warehouse activities

Support Health & Safety Compliance:

  • Ensuring safety requirements are met on a project basis
  • Coordinating safety certifications and audits
  • Working closely with the Technical Authority on safety matters

Assets, Knowledge and Experience:

  • Organized self-starter with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Professional phone and email etiquette
  • Detail-oriented with a hands-on approach
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

Required Certifications & Qualifications:

  • Rope Access Background (IRATA / SPRAT)
  • Health and Safety Background
  • Applicable OSHA certificates
  • Canadian residency and Ontario Driver's License

Desirable Skills, Certifications & Qualifications:

  • Rope Access Experience
  • Passion for Safety and Rescue
  • Hoisting and Rigging Experience
  • Occupational health and safety certifications
