Job Description:

Maintenance Person


To ensure the smooth and efficient running of the Engineering Department, achieving maximum employee job satisfaction and guest satisfaction while adhering to the standards required by the Hotel.

What you will be doing:

  • Working in guest rooms on preventative maintenance program
  • Repairing vacuums, carts and general servicing
  • Completing work order requests
  • Maintaining the property's staff accommodation units
  • Participation of hotel H&S programs
  • Assisting Trades persons as required
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Your experience and skills include:

  • No less than 2 years in a high pace, luxury service environment
  • Must have proven hotel maintenance experience, including preventative maintenance duties. (note that testing may be required on technical qualifications)
  • Must have previous experience in repairing equipment used in the Hotel
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Hard working individual, selfmotivated
  • Good communication skills and rapport with the general public
  • Must be willing to work evenings & weekends
