This is a full-time Associate Conference Organizer role with a 6-month contract at Chronicle Companies.This includes communication with speakers, participants, and vendors, planning and coordinating event logistics, managing event budgets, and assisting with sales and marketing initiatives.
This is a hybrid role, based in Toronto, ON, with flexibility for some remote work.Customer Outreach:
Engage with our existing customer base through various communication channels (email, phone, and virtual meetings) to maintain regular contact and address any concerns they may have.
Relationship Building:
Develop and nurture strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are understood and catered to effectively.
Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling our publications, digital products, and conference services to our current clients, contributing to revenue growth.
Feedback Collection:
Proactively gather feedback from clients regarding our services, products, and events, and communicate that feedback effectively to the relevant teams for continuous improvement.
Event Coordination:
Collaborate with our events team to ensure smooth registration processes for medical conferences, assisting attendees as needed.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions, sales activities, and client feedback in our CRM system.
High competence in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Zoom, and Slack for efficient communication and collaboration.
Previous experience in customer service, sales, or client relations roles within the medical or publishing industry.
Familiarity with the pharmaceutical industry or medical conferences.
Note:
This is a six-month contract position that provides an exclusive chance to collaborate with a well-known publisher and organizer of medical conferences located in Toronto, Ontario.
