INTRODUCTION


Generate Upcycle team is hiring a permanent Full-time
Customer Service and Office Administrator to be at the forefront of providing high levels of customer service to both our internal and external customers.

Reporting to the General Manager - Canadian Operations, you will be a critical member of our team, and your work will be imperative to the successful growth of the business.

The last several decades have ushered in a dramatic rise in demand for natural resources like energy, water, food, and materials.

As a result, trillions of dollars of investment have gone into resource-related technologies to reduce the cost of producing and using those resources.

McKinsey is calling this the
"Resource Revolution" - how can we use technology to do more with less of our natural resources?

Thanks to these now-standard resource-related technologies, distributed, networked infrastructure is the most cost-effective and reliable way to produce critical resources (energy, food, water, materials).

We believe that we can solve the world's resource issues and don't need to reinvent the world. We need to rebuild it.

While some focus on finding new and revolutionary tools, we rebuild resource systems with the high-impact, economic, and proven solutions we have today.


Until now, new energy asset finance (a $300B annual market) has been dominated by larger-scale projects that tend to attract traditional capital sources.

Generate Upcycle on the other hand, is focused on being a capital partner to lower middle market project developers and solution providers that are typically overlooked by traditional financiers for a variety of reasons:

asset size, underwriting complexity, project duration and perhaps above all, the recent increases in regulation and overhead for those banks and public-sector finance entities.

As a long-term investor with truly permanent capital, Generate Upcycle provides a standardized origination and underwriting engine that results in profitable funding for these smaller deals and aggregates them to sufficient size for leverage, securitization, or other forms of liquidity.

You are self-motivated, detail-oriented, possess excellent customer service and communication skills, and strive for continuous improvement

Responsibilities:

Customer Service

  • Responsible for delivering superior customer service to Generate Upcycle's external customers and internal customers (sales team members, operations, and other departments)
  • Collaboration with internal stakeholders (Sales and Operations) for materials and logistics planning (feedstock schedule). Understand how downstream processing condition, inventory (tank levels) impacts customer delivery schedule and receiving
  • A significant contributor to the financial success of the plant(s) operation by ensuring customer satisfaction is a key priority
  • Interact daily with carriers / truck drivers to manage traffic flow through the site(s)
  • Receiving: conduct truck checkin / out and complete associated data entry and verification using the scale program(s)
  • Provide support to Sales with updated customer pricing notification, complete various sales reports from our system and database.
  • Enter and update company and client records into the company database
  • Complete quality control documents where needed: Certificate of Destruction forms
  • Handle customer complaints and inquiries in a timely matter and ensure proper resolution

Office Administration

  • Greet visitors and ensure all sign ins are complete
  • Field and resolve calls regarding third party partners
  • Track customers parcels and resolve missing items query. Expediting of all customer and vendor requirements when necessary
