Shifts Available:

  • Monday to Thursday Day Shift 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM
  • Friday to Sunday Day Shift 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM (Work 36 hours and get paid for 40 hours)
  • Friday to Sunday Night Shift 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM (Work 36 hours and get paid for 40 hours)

What will you be doing in the Plant Utility position?

Operating Responsibilities:

  • Prepping of bottom dunnage and crossers for production finished lifts.
  • Daily operation and maintenance of the Tennant floor cleaner.
  • Ensure daily production continuously meets the requirements of IFOTIS (In full, On Time, In Spec).
  • Repairing board supplier skids in preparation for the return.
  • Draining and prepping paint/wastewater totes for return.
  • Maintain supplies rack in a neat and organized fashion.
  • Plant tasks (hog scrap carts, sweep floors, general cleaning, etc.).
  • Outside yard maintenance (garbage removal, loading dock clean up, general organization, snow removal of emergency exits)
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by supervision/management.
  • Keep the plant clean and always organized.
  • Engaged in supporting MPS initiatives (i.e., Safety, SMED, Continuous Improvement, 6S, etc.).
  • Lead by example to ensure Metrie's core value is met; P.R.I.C.E (Passion, Respect, Integrity, Collaboration, Excellence).
  • Lead by example, maintaining a positive attitude while treating all other colleagues and associates with respect.
