POSITION:
VOLUNTEER SERVICES - Coffee Shop Adult Staff_

  • Primary Site: Stratford_
  • Regular Parttime_
- ***:_The Coffee Shop Staff will advance the goals as defined by the Volunteer Council by following all policies/procedures and assigned tasks ensuring excellent customer service._

SALARY:_$17.50 per hour_
QUALIFICATIONS:_

  • Secondary school diploma with experience in food service; or any equivalent combination of training and experience. _
  • Current Safe Food Handling Certification, or a willingness to obtain this certificate_
-
EXPERIENCE:_

  • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to communicate effectively with customers, staff and patients_
  • Ability to operate with a high level of independence, sound judgment and decisionmaking skills_
  • An understanding/experience with POS (point of sale) and cash register procedures_

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:_

  • To liaise with customers ensuring they are greeted with a smile and a helping hand_
  • Conduct and present oneself in a professional manner_
  • Be able to maintain confidentiality in accordance with HPHA's policy_
  • Be reliable, and flexible _
  • Adapt to change_
  • Be a team player and take direction from lead staff._
  • Be health and safety conscious and WHMIS knowledgeable_
