Job Title
Automation Analyst

Job Purpose

  • Develop / Improve automation activities including build automation, operational improvement, end user experience help and managing KPIs
  • Participate in Automation related projects and Automation development for team initiatives
  • Manage and develop support and compliance dashboards, reports, and related automation.
  • Manage and develop ServiceNow dashboards and reports
  • Lead activities to provide monthly end user reporting, service volume uploads to AppTio and reporting of monthly KPIs and service metrics
  • Analyzing and reporting trends in service usage and service now ticket volumes
  • Assist project and business teams with adhoc reporting

Primary responsibilities:

Technical Analysis and Specification:

  • High functioning knowledge and extensive working experience of Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (XenApp and XenDesktop) and supporting products, Windows Server 2016, Windows 10. (IGEL nice to have)
  • High proficiency in task automation via Powershell [required], (Python + Linux bash/shell [nice to have])
  • Performance tuning to improve efficiency across Citrix & IGEL environments and it's supporting processes [required]
  • Working experience with GitHub as a source management and version control process [required]
  • Create, Maintain and Improve Tableau reporting / dashboards.
  • Manage Production DB using MS SQL Management studio
  • Support and maintain operational teams and processes that underpin the Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktop platforms
  • Collect and report KPI for various operations.
  • Adhere to Jira Agile practices.

Support and Operations:

  • Troubleshoot and resolve automations and script execution on servers and virtual platforms.
  • Successfully identify, create and implement task automations and efficiencies, targeting business needs and virtual desktop infrastructure
  • Create and maintain documentation including but not limted to systems, procedures and working practices
  • Meet/exceed set SLAs in the resolution of assigned problem tickets

Required:

  • Technical understanding in a variety of hardware and software platforms.
  • Experience in IT development, support and implementation roles
  • Familiar with XenAPP and XenDesktop, Citrix products. IGEL OS.

Job Summary
Provides technical support on IT-related activities to network systems security. Applies experience and seasoned knowledge, skills, and practices to perform a variety of assignments.
