  • The first role will oversee the development and maintenance of key treasury risk management frameworks including interest rate risk and liquidity risk. The role will also oversee pricing, and daily liquidity and cash management.
  • The second role will oversee the purchased and sold loan portfolios, securitization and debt facilities. The role will also oversee ICAAP, capital planning, investment portfolio management and contingency planning.
What you'll do

  • Leads the team in acting as a first line of defense related to Treasury Risk Management, including the development, maintenance and review of various financial models, stress testing methodologies and reporting related to Treasury Risk Management.
  • Ensures the review and development of unit procedures and policies, evaluating their effectiveness in adhering to regulatory standards and industry bestpractices, and leads the implementation of approved system and process improvements.
  • Champions the research, innovation, planning, testing, development and implementation of futurefocused software systems.
  • Supports the establishment of interest rates (pricing) for all deposit and lending products.
  • Ensures sufficient liquidity levels to meet daytoday operating requirements leveraging cash flow forecasting and analysis, while supporting the maintenance of adequate contingent funding programs to mitigate unexpected cash shortfalls.
  • Supports the optimization of the statutory liquidity and excess liquidity investment portfolios, maximizing investment returns within the risk parameters established by policy and regulatory requirements.
  • Develops and maintains loan syndication and securitization programs, debt facilities and other forms of financing to manage liquidity risk and capital adequacy.

What you've got

  • Postsecondary diploma or degree in a related field, plus 7 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Intermediate understanding of Affinity Credit Union's business objectives and divisional business operations
  • Advanced knowledge in treasury and financial risk management practices related to the financial services industry
  • Ability to lead, engage, and coach employees, set clear expectations, review progress, provide feedback and guidance, and hold people accountable
