About the Opportunity
- Responsible for the overall month end close process while maintaining high standards and ensuring accurate, timely and reliable reporting of monthly, quarterly and annual financial results and disclosures
- Provide on-going leadership and direction for the Corporate Accounting team of three including professional development, coaching, and daily oversight of activities
- Responsible for investor relations including MD&A, Press Releases, AIF and Management Circular
- Responsible for all Corporate accounting including consolidation of all legal entities
- Responsible for IFRS technical accounting issues
- Ensure internal control practices surrounding the financial reporting and close process are defined, implemented, and executed
- Manage annual budget and forecast process for Balance Sheet and Cash Flow
- Manage interim and annual audit requirements with external auditors
- Resource for accounting, internal control issues and implementation of improvements
- Resource for ERP updates, including development of requirements, and prioritization and testing of enhancements
- Special projects as required
About You
- CPA, CA designation
- Experience preparing external financial statements and disclosures
- Public company experience preferred
- Experience with consolidations
- Experience in manufacturing preferred
- Advanced proficiency in Excel
Salary
$120,000 to $125,000/year
