Hasty Market is seeking a skilled Accounting Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing cheques for payroll, and reconciling accounts.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bookkeeping and accounting principles, with experience in using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems. You will also be proficient in data analysis software, MS Excel, and other relevant tools.

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual who can work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. If you are a team player with excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
  • Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports
  • Reconcile accounts
  • Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
  • Calculate fixed assets and depreciation

Requirements:

  • College/CEGEP education
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Proficiency in data analysis software, MS Excel, and other relevant tools
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
