Lifemark Physiotherapy Colchester is looking to hire a Clinic Director to join our collaborative team in Truro, Colchester, NS

The Clinic Director must have a clinical designation as a Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist, or Massage Therapist, ideally with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience. The clinic director will be energized to recognize new opportunities to develop future business, have experience with strategic planning, budgeting, and development of business plans, and have a passion for developing clinical excellence through mentorship, education, and professional development.

This position is a split management/clinician position, the ideal candidate will treat their patients for a portion of the week, whilst spending the remainder of their time on management duties.

Clinical Quality:

Ensuring quality improvement in the delivery of patient care.
Performing chart audits (reviewing treatment plans for accuracy, clinical reasoning & program selection)
Maintaining standards for communication (charts, letters, phone) with customers
Participating in lunch & learns (internal & external as required)
Ensuring effective and efficient implementation and development of clinic and corporate standard operating procedures.

Professional Development:

Business development, financial management, and development of clinic business plans
Promoting a climate of success and the highest level of service with strong supportive leadership and a positive attitude
Monitoring customer service programs to provide an outstanding experience to patients, physicians, and other clients
Maintaining a strong presence in the clinic, mentoring and developing potential leaders within the team for the benefit of future growth of the organization.
Demonstrating clinical leadership and expertise through mentorship of clinical staff
Performing 1:1 meetings with all clinical staff- review of physiotherapist scorecard and other objective measures of performance
Developing a corrective action plan when performance issues are identified
Assisting Office Manager in recruitment and hiring of staff

You are:

A graduate of a recognized university with an applicable degree in Physiotherapy or Occupational Therapy or Massage Therapy
Registered with the appropriate provincial regulatory body (required)
Experienced as a practicing clinician (3+ years preferred)
Able to adapt to changes in priorities, possessing business acumen
Proven to improve revenues through business development activities and building relationships.
An advocate for our patients and customers.
A strong leader with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with an interdisciplinary team.
Experience with strategic planning, budgeting, and development of business plans.
Energized to recognize new opportunities to develop future business
