RESPONSIBILITIES :
The Aircraft Technician is responsible for conduction all servicing and maintenance tasks.

â¢Â Â   In your role, you will:
â¢Â Â   Inspect, maintain, repair, and test aircraft avionics systems;
â¢Â Â   Remove and replace line replaceable units and components;
â¢Â Â   Specialty work in maintenance shops as required;
â¢Â Â   Interpret technical publications and diagrams;
â¢Â Â   Maintain tools and equipment required to perform primary duties;
â¢Â Â   Order aircraft spare parts and materials;
â¢Â Â   Conduct flight line servicing operations;
â¢Â Â   Debrief Team Lead as required;
â¢Â Â   Carry out workplace inspections and clean ups;
â¢Â Â   Fill position of Desk controller
o    Education
Formal technical training in avionics systems
o    
o    Experience as an Avionics Technician providing in-depth knowledge of avionics systems
o    Experience in 1st and 2nd line maintenance activities
o    Experience in life cycle support activities considered an asset
o    Other required training or skills
o    Excellent oral and written communication skills;

Proven experience as a team player,
Knowledge of aerospace design and maintenance practices.
Candidate must successfully pass a security evaluation per the requirements of the Controlled Goods Directorate of Canada and to CAE being able to obtain all necessary re-transfer authorization in compliance with US ITAR regulations.
