\tSenior-level private capital investment expertise required\r
\tUnder direction of the Managing Director, you’ll provide strategic leadership in developing and executing FCC’s private capital program. You’ll direct policies, processes, systems and resources to conduct due diligence, recommend new investments, and monitor and report on FCC’s private capital portfolio. Build relationships and partnerships in the industry to increase investment and support for innovative, growing businesses.\r

\tThis position is designated bilingual (English and French), and the successful candidate must be able to communicate in both of Canada’s official languages.\r

\tWhat you’ll do:\r
\r
\t\r
\t\tCollaborate with internal and external partners and senior leaders in executing the private capital strategy\r
\t\r
\t\tProvide strategic recommendations on strategy, frameworks, policies, metrics and best practices for the private capital program\r
\t\r
\t\tRecommend investment and partnership opportunities\r
\t\r
\t\tDirect and perform due diligence\r
\t\r
\t\tBuild and maintain relationships with fund managers, industry partners, investors and other stakeholders\r
\t\r
\t\tDevelop and provide effective reporting, forecasting, analytics and monitoring of program outcomes and financial results\r
\t\r
\t\tCoach and mentor a team of high-performing analysts and principals, establishing clear direction, priorities and performance metrics\r
\r
\r
\t \r
\r

\t\tA degree in finance, business or commerce and at least 15 years of related leadership experience supplemented by a CPA, CFA or MBA designation (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)\r

\t\tExtensive knowledge of private capital investments (debt and equity)\r
\t\r
\t\tAbility to develop successful teams and foster strong relationships  \r
