We are excited to continue expanding our brand and look forward to opening our newest location in Brentwood Burnaby in summer of 2024.We are currently looking for an experienced ASSISTANT GENERAL MANAGER to join our dynamic team at Bow & Stern located at The Amazing Brentwood in Burnaby. The Assistant General Manager (AGM) will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including managing staff, ensuring high-quality of service, and maintaining a positive customer experience. Reporting directly to the General Manager, the AGM will also assist in strategic planning, budgeting, and implementing policies and procedures. Qualifications:- Minimum 3 years experience in a similar position - Passion for service, demonstrating a “guest first” approach always- Strong leadership, interpersonal and conflict resolution skills with the capacity to develop and motivate staff to achieve challenging goals- A proven record of training and developing a team- Strong understanding of restaurant operational controls and financials- A thorough understanding of Food Safe and WorkSafe requirements- Experience with monitoring and controlling inventory- Must be available to work days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays- Commitment to continuous learning and improvement
