Visual Merchandiser

The Visual Merchandiser creates exciting, authoritative cutting-edge visual presentations for store installations (interiors and/or windows) and presents store merchandise to company standards encouraging customers to purchase.

Specific responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following:

  • Style and dress mannequins and/or hard good presentation
  • Sourcing and implementing of appropriate materials and propping
  • Adhere to corporate guidelines, standards and directives
  • Partnering with various departments to execute visual initiatives
  • Re-work presentations as merchandise sells down or consolidations arrive, ensuring new receipts are present to maximize impact
  • Adhere to corporate guidelines, standards and directives
  • Rotate aged stock into blend to assist in driving sell through
  • Orchestrate placement of signage
  • Work with external vendor specialist in merchant designated areas/departments
  • Ensure established visual merchandising standards are maintained throughout the store interiors and windows
  • Properly maintain the visual stockroom & visual and merchandising collateral
  • Respect merchandise protection standards and inventory requirements when selecting and returning merchandise for presentations
  • Comply with all Health & Safety policies and requirements
  • Ensure compliance with privacy policies, regulations, and cyber security measures

The ideal candidate:

  • Minimum 3 years of Visual Merchandising experience
  • Related Fashion school and/or Visual Merchandising courses/diploma

  • Individual objectives linked to the achievement of department goals
  • Feedback from internal and external clients

Marchandiseur(euse) Visuel(le)

Le/la marchandiseur(euse) visuel(le) crée des installations de marchandisage visuel captivantes et avant-gardistes et qui font autorité pour les magasins (positionnement de produit, vitrines et intérieurs) et les harmonise aux lignes directrices de marchandisage visuel de l'entreprise.

Les responsabilités spécifiques comprennent ce qui suit, sans toutefois s'y limiter :

  • Réalise l'installation et l'entretien du marchandisage des rayons des marques adjacentes, du positionnement des produits et de l'affichage selon les directives du siège social
  • Respecte les normes, les processus et les protocoles du siège social en matière de marchandisage visuel des produits
  • Encadre et promeut les lignes directrices du marchandisage visuel en collaborant avec les équipes à l'interne, les conseillers à la vente et les fournisseurs
  • Comprend la matrice de la marque et l'essence de l'entreprise tout en s'informant des lignes directrices des fournisseurs
  • Accroît et actualise ses connaissances des tendances mode pertinentes et des lignes directrices de stylisme des fournisseurs afin de développer un point de vue mode, particulier à l'identité de la marque Holt Renfrew et aux segments de la clientèle de base
  • Crée des présentations avant-gardistes dans les vitrines, dans les aires principales intérieures et sur les mannequins des rayons et dans l'intégration des marchandises tout en observant les directives du CSAM
  • Réalise une mise en place supérieure et de luxe pour toutes les activités liées au marchandisage visuel
  • S'engage à rafraîchir l'expérience de nos clients sur une base courante
    • Effectue un contrôle adéquat, fournit des plans et la liberté d'intégrer de nouveaux articles
    • Gère la rotation et l'amalgame de marchandises plus anciennes sur une base courante
  • Collabore avec tous les employés et équipes de direction à l'interne afin de planifier, de mettre en œuvre et d'entretenir toutes les présentations de marchandisage visuel dans le but de stimuler les ventes
  • Collabore avec les conseillers à la vente, les spécialistes et les conseillers en shopping personnalisé afin de s'assurer de présenter les produits conformément aux lignes directrices du marchandisage visuel telles que repasser les vêtements à la vapeur, dépoussiérer les marchandises et faire preuve d'une présentation soignée
  • S'approvisionne en matériel et accessoires, le cas échéant, selon les instructions de l'équipe de direction
  • Conçoit des espaces techniques, peint et installe les accessoires et les vinyles selon les directives et au besoin
  • S'assure que le studio, les réserves et tous les espaces secondaires sont entretenus, propres, rangés et ordonnés
  • Contribue collectivement à recueillir des rétroactions et à les transmettre à l'équipe de direction du magasin et au CSAM
  • Se conforme à toutes les politiques et exigences de santé et sécurité, de protection des marchandises et de normes relatives au stock, telles que stipulées par l'entreprise
  • Assurer le respect en matière de protection de la vie privée, des réglementations et des mesures de cybersécurité.

Le(la) candidat(e) idéal(e) possède :

  • Au moins 1 à 3 année(s) d'expérience en marchandisage visuel
  • Diplôme ou cours en marchandisage visuel et (ou) dans une école de mode
