New Westminster, Canada Fraser Health Authority Full time
Salary

The salary range for this position is CAD $42.56 - $52.95 / hour
Job Summary

Fraser Health continues to be recognized as one of BC's Top Employers, are you someone who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of others?

Fraser Health is responsible for the delivery of hospital and community-based health services to over 1.9 million people in 20 diverse communities from Burnaby to Fraser Canyon on the traditional territories of the Coast Salish and Nlaka'pamux Nations. Our team of 43,000 staff, medical staff and volunteers is dedicated to serving our patients, families and communities to deliver on our vision: Better health, best in health care.

A successful candidate will be added to the casual pool for the regional Rehabilitation & Recovery team, which provides OT services at the community mental health centres throughout Fraser Health. As a casual, you will receive offers for blocks of shifts in advance; we do not ask casuals to fill in for therapists who call in sick on a single day. You will also be able to set parameters of which communities you are willing to work in, and when you would be open to shift offers.

Generally, we will be looking to fill a minimum of 3 shifts, with a frequency of no less than one shift per week. Most shift offers can be negotiated. Since casuals are usually working for a limited time, most client referrals will be for functional assessments, or brief therapy interventions. This may differ, however, if you are working casual shifts more often.

Take the next step and apply so we can continue the conversation with you.

Come work with dedicated health care providers who are enthusiastic and committed to provide quality healthcare to our clients/patients/residents. We invite you to find out why more than 95% of new employees recommend Fraser Health as an excellent place to work. Work hard and have fun while you do it.
