Commissionaires BC is looking for security guards to join our casual on call Reserves Division team, working in Kent and Agassiz Area.

SHIFT TIMES: Monday - Friday 7:00am to 3:00pm (0700 - 1500)

Pay rate: $23.23

Some of your responsibilities include:

  • Escort individuals to and from Uncontrolled Areas
  • Prior to entering the Restricted Area and/or Sterile Area, verify all Temporary Passes against Lost & stolen list
  • Notify the correct parties when entering the facility and when leaving
  • Notify the senior escort of any safety and/or security incidents (regardless of severity) that occur on the site
  • Ensure that Escort Ratios are adhered to (at all times) while escorting construction workers working at the site
  • Ensure that Visual Contact is maintained while escorting construction workers using Temporary Passes

Your Must Haves:

  • Valid BC Security Licence
  • Have resided in Canada for a minimum of 5 years for clearance purposes
  • OFA 1 certificate
  • Personal vehicle

Nice to have:

  • WHMIS
  • Fall Protection Course
