THE POSITION

A Security & Training Operations Supervisor to help organize and oversee all security operations of our company. Security personnel will be guided and directed within our group while you develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain security standards.

In this role, you will have to demonstrate excellent surveillance and emergency response skills. You will need a strong commitment to security rules and knowledge of all hazards and threats to safety. Since you will have several people under your responsibility, you must also exhibit excellent leadership skills.

The goal is to create and preserve an environment where employees, visitors and property are safe and well-protected while delivering a world class fan experience.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Leading Building Security Team and Response Team to achieve a high level of operational readiness
  • Develop a strong team culture focused on safety
  • Create a healthy and safe work environment for all staff
  • Developing training program to ensure all team members are informed and capable to create a safe and secure environment
  • Lead access control and accreditation program
  • Guide targeted training of searches, customer service, report writing, and investigations
  • Liaise with CPS and medical teams to coordinate event coverage and deployment
  • Assist in managing FE budget and invoicing
  • Coordinate cross-departmental meetings to discuss upcoming events and coordination needs
  • Oversee building accreditation program for all restricted areas
  • Collaborate with department managers to develop and deliver safety and security training programs for employees, including emergency response procedures.
  • Engage with staff to ensure role clarity and event knowledge is understood
  • Stay current on threat, hazard, and risk identification to apply mitigation strategies
  • Assisting in Event Command during games and events within the Saddledome and McMahon Stadium
  • All other duties as assigned

THE INDIVIDUAL

The ideal candidate will have the following background:

  • 3-5 years corporate security experience with preference in events
  • ICS 200 Level training
  • PSP or CPP certified
  • Familiar with access control and CCTV systems
  • Have led large teams in fast paced environments
