THE POSITION

A Security & Parking Operations Supervisor to help organize and oversee all security operations of our company. Security personnel will be guided and directed within our group while you develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain security standards.

In this role, you will have to demonstrate excellent surveillance and emergency response skills. You will need a strong commitment to security rules and knowledge of all hazards and threats to safety. Since you will have several people under your responsibility, you must also exhibit excellent leadership skills.

The goal is to create and preserve an environment where employees, visitors and property are safe and well-protected while delivering a world class fan experience.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Leading Building Security Team and Response Team to achieve a high level of operational readiness
  • Develop a strong team culture focused on safety
  • Create a healthy and safe work environment for all staff
  • Parking management and liaising with Calgary Stampede, City of Calgary and other parking vendors.
  • Coordinate cross-departmental meetings to discuss upcoming events and coordination needs
  • Assist in creating infographics and managing the FE Response and Building Security workforce
  • Engage with staff to ensure role clarity and event knowledge is understood
  • Coordinate scheduling and payroll of security team
  • Manage the maintenance of all parking lots and signage
  • Booking all parking lots for events and coordinating shuttle service as needed
  • Implement tech based solutions to improve overall Lost and Found program
  • Create KPI's for all security vendors to be measured against
  • Analyze event-based data and apply learning to improve Response Team and Parking Management team operations
  • Assisting in Event Command during games and events within the Saddledome and McMahon Stadium
  • All other duties as assigned

THE INDIVIDUAL

The ideal candidate will have the following background:

  • 3-5 years corporate security experience with preference in events
  • ICS 200 Level training
  • PSP or CPP certified
  • Familiar with access control and CCTV systems
  • Have led large teams in fast paced environments
