What is the opportunity?
The Manager Reinsurance Systems is responsible for the translation of reinsurance business needs into system specifications, through requirements elicitation, solutions identification, risk analysis and collaboration across various business stakeholder.
Working with the Senior Manager, Reinsurance Systems to provide business subject matter expertise, you will be responsible for business analysis activities on medium to large size reinsurance initiatives and ensure the execution of all aspects of project requirements related to T.A.I System.
What will you do?
• Support and/or take a lead role to ensure the accurate and timely implementation of projects
• Participate and work collaboratively and closely with various stakeholders (i.e., IT, Third Party Vendor, Pricing…) to deliver project results and/or investigate system issues while implementing risk analysis and meeting required deliverables
• Plan with other Business Analysts, Project Managers, and business in the early stages of project formation
• Manage the set up and maintenance of reinsurance treaties
• Conduct and support QA testing and Production Implementation Verification activities
• Develop documents for T.A.I system specifications and test plans according to existing standards and methodologies
What will you need to succeed?
Must have:
• 3+ years of Reinsurance experience
• With change management experience in complex programs with high frequency of requests and multiple priorities
• Ability to translate complex business needs and problems into process and/or technical solutions with limited support
• Deadline-driven and results-oriented; able to meet consistently high-quality standards while handling a variety of tasks and deadlines simultaneously
• Proficient in MS Office, UAT, Query Design, VBA, SQL and/or Python
• Strong communication skills (written and oral) together with a proven ability to effectively communicate with a broad cross-section of people at various levels in the business communities
Nice to have:
• Sound analytical and critical thinking skills
• Sound project facilitation skills
• Knowledge of reconciliation design, data integration, data sourcing, data quality reporting, and exception resolution processes
• Understanding of data governance and data quality concepts and processes such as Data Quality Controls, Authoritative Data Sources, Master and Reference Data, etc.
