The Senior Recruiter, Talent Acquisition strengthens the organization's people capabilities, driving performance, and ensuring Holt Renfrew has the talent to meet current and future business needs. Reporting to the Director, Talent Acquisition, you will be responsible for executing full cycle recruitment in a fast paced retail environment. You will partner with senior leaders to hire top talent, execute hiring initiatives and events, and collaborate with groups across the business while championing Holt Renfrew's mission to empower self-expression and ignite positive change.
What you'll do here:
- You know how to build a bond with candidates and bring them through a quality first candidate experience, expertly navigating to hire
- You are a skilled relationship builder, you will easily build rapport and partnerships across the business to deeply understand the needs of various teams
- You own the full recruitment cycle from end to end, managing multiple roles across departments (both technical, non-technical, retail and corporate)
- You can advise and influence your partners across the business sharing market intelligence, candidate experience and skill, and influence when interview processes might need changing or adapting
- You are excited to support our people strategy, working in partnership with Director of Talent Acquisition and various business leaders
- You can lead and deliver on projects, supporting cross functional collaboration and building programs that move forward to implementation
- You stay current on recruitment trends, building and maintaining a network of contacts in the industry, participating in industry events and professional associations
- You have a knack for systems and processes and will work with our HR Operations team to support the development of Talent Acquisition ATS improvements
- You are motivated to deliver on employee and candidate experience
- You're data driven and leverage accurate recruitment metrics and reporting to inform sourcing strategies, drive recruitment activities and consult with hiring managers
- You partner with the Talent team during the talent review and succession planning processes; forecast talent needs and provide recruitment support to fill all roles with the best talent
- You know how to communicate on social and support with the development and execution of Employer Branding initiatives
The ideal candidate:
- 5-7 years of recruitment experience
- Advanced knowledge of labor market and industry trends, solid knowledge of retail, field experience an asset; Well networked
- Experience hiring mid to senior level professionals in specialized roles is advantageous
- Knowledge of and ability to champion talent acquisition best practices
- Demonstrated leadership and influencing skills with the ability to get things done
- Excellent interpersonal skills; a team player who is able to act as both a leader and an individual contributor as required
- Confident and effective communication (written & verbal) and interpersonal skills
- Is adaptable and comfortable with ambiguity and change
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Experience with Workday will be considered an asset
