Coordinator, Visual Merchandising

The Coordinator, Marketing role strategically builds the profile of Holt Renfrew and its product and experience offering through the development of exciting and high standard events, and building exceptional relationships with media and community partners.

Specific responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following:

  • Working in partnership with Sr. Manager, Visual and Merchandising to coordinate all visual and merchandising schedules
  • Liaise with Special Events as point person for visual elements required for event(s) set up
  • Assist with the coaching and development of visual merchandising team, inspire through leading by example
  • Align costs of allotted budget and expense budget provided by Sr. Manager, Visual and Merchandising
  • Assist with communication of appropriate parameters, standards and directives set by Store Support to visual merchandising team
  • Ensure visual studio is maintained in a clean, tidy, organized and fashion
  • Assist with the direction in creating leading-edge presentations in windows and interiors while remaining true to Store Support Visual directives
  • Ensure visual presentation for Special Events are on time, within budget and standards are not compromised
  • Source materials and props as appropriate
  • Reinforce established visual presentation standards are maintained throughout the store and windows
  • Comply with all Health & Safety policies and requirements
  • Ensure compliance with privacy policies, regulations, and cyber security measures.

The ideal candidate:

  • Minimum of 3 - 5yrs of Visual Presentation in Retail
  • Post Secondary education an asset
  • Fine Art Training and/or Related Design School Diploma
  • Formal or equivalent Visual Presentation Training
  • Knowledge in Microsoft Word and Excel

The measures of success:

  • Contribution to financial objectives
  • Individual objectives linked to the achievement of department goals
  • Feedback from internal and external clients

Coordonnateur(trice), Marchandisage visuel

Le(la) coordonnateur(trice), Visuel et Marchandisage, appuie le Directeur(trice)principal(e), Visuel et Marchandisage, en renforçant la marque de l'entreprise par le biais de présentations créatives, ainsi qu'en jouant le rôle de personne-ressource en matière de soutien visuel pour les événements spéciaux.

Les responsabilités spécifiques comprennent ce qui suit, sans toutefois s'y limiter :

  • Collabore avec le(la) directeur(trice) principal(e), Visuel et Marchandisage, afin de coordonner les horaires du visuel et du marchandisage.
  • Établit un lien avec le Service des événements spéciaux à titre de personne-ressource pour les éléments visuels nécessaires pour le montage des événements.
  • Aide à l'encadrement et au perfectionnement de l'équipe du marchandisage visuel, inspirant en donnant l'exemple.
  • Harmonise les coûts du budget alloué et du budget des dépenses fournis par le(la) directeur(trice) principal(e), Visuel et Marchandisage.
  • Aide à communiquer les paramètres, normes et directives appropriés établis par le Centre de soutien aux magasins à l'équipe du marchandisage visuel.
  • S'assure de tenir le studio propre, ordonné, organisé et branché sur les tendances.
  • Appuie la direction à suivre en créant des présentations de pointe dans les vitrines, tout en respectant les directives visuelles du Centre de soutien aux magasins.
  • S'assure que la présentation visuelle pour les événements spéciaux est prête à temps et selon le budget et que les normes ne sont pas compromises.
  • S'approvisionne en matériaux et accessoires selon la pertinence.
  • S'assure que les normes de présentation visuelle en place sont respectées à l'échelle du magasin et dans les vitrines.
  • Se conforme à toutes les politiques et exigences de santé-sécurité.
  • Assurer le respect en matière de protection de la vie privée, des réglementations et des mesures de cybersécurité.

Le(la) candidat(e) idéale) possède:

  • De 3 à 5 années d'expérience en présentation visuelle dans l'industrie au détail
  • Éducation postsecondaire un atout
  • Formation en beaux-arts et (ou) diplôme d'une école de design
  • Formation officielle en présentation visuelle ou l'équivalent
  • Connaissance de Microsoft Word et Excel
