Job Description

You possess extensive knowledge of QA best practices, techniques and tools. You demonstrate strong planning and organization skills. You are detail-oriented and never forget to cross your t's and dot your i's. You are always looking at ways to make things better and think effectiveness is key. You love to push the envelope when it comes to technology/automation, and live to be part of a team that builds what's next.

  • Backend testing using tools like Postman
  • Integration testing between Front end and Back end using tools like Charles
  • Performance and Load testing APIs

  • Building from codebase and deploying apps to devices

  • Identify test requirements and execute test cases

  • Develop, document and maintain test cases and other test artifacts

  • Ensure that validated deliverables meet specifications and requirements

  • Report test results and bugs in appropriate tools (i.e., GitHub, Jira, Manuscript)

  • Help determine best tools to be used for testing

Qualifications

  • 4 to 6 years of experience in quality assurance - specifically mobile testing with preference given to those who have a degree in computer science, software development, or a related field

  • Advanced knowledge of and experience in using Postman, jmeter, Selenium, Appium, etc.

  • Robust experience building from codebase and deploying to device

  • Experience with device farms/virtualized device testing

  • Ed Tech university or college workplace experience preferred
