Hotel Pur, Quebec, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel is seeking a General Manager to oversea the property. In this role, the General Manager creates and maintains a customer-driven hotel with a vision that inspires the associates to do their best. Oversee the quality process to ensure customer satisfaction by consistent delivery of both product quality and service in accordance with hotel's profitability goals.

What you’ll be doing:

Perform administrative duties including, but not limited to: writing and presenting reports, communicating with owners' guests, property leaders, corporate office, local associations, etc. Critically review and strategize all performance reports. Make judgments and implement changes to maximize profitability. Supervise development of and revision to business plan, annual budget and annual and monthly forecasts, etc. Formulate complex reports and communicate proactively to owners. Interview, hire, supervise and counsel department managers in the efficient operation of their respective area(s). Meet with, develop and delegate improvement plans for operation and review performance of management team. Partner with leaders on performance improvement opportunities and strategy. Train, recommend performance evaluations, resolve problems, provide open communication and approve discipline and all terminations. Participate in community affairs and maintain positive public image for hotel, restaurant and Crescent. Meet with potential and current clients and promote hotel. Foster positive community relationships and behave as ambassador to hotel. Communicate both verbally and in writing to provide clear direction to team. Physically tour and visually inspect property on a daily basis. Monitor cost control, property condition, cleanliness and quality of product and service throughout hotel. Greet and maintain rapport with associates and customers. Communicate property needs to ownership with expected frequency. Travel to attend corporate meetings, sales trips and serve on committees such as Research, Development and Standards committee. Appropriately handle associate issues in conjunction with People and Culture following local legislation and Crescent policies. Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Abilities:

Minimum of 3 years' experience as a General Manager in a full-service hotel. Self-starting personality with an even disposition and an entrepreneurial spirit. Must be willing to “pitch-in” and help co- workers with their job duties and be a team player. Critical thinker with extensive knowledge of hotel operations, including marketing plans, security and safety programs, personnel and labor relations, preparation of business plans, repairs, maintenance, budget forecasting, quality assurance programs, hospitality law, and long-range planning. Leadership skills to motivate and develop team and to ensure accomplishment of goals. Ability to create positive high impact results with associates, our guests and investors while genuinely supporting the communities we serve. Keen eye for detail and empowering coaching mentality Strong desire to continuously improve and help others improve Marriott experience is a PLUS.

Preferred:

Hotel General Manager of full-service independent, lifestyle, boutique and/or luxury properties. Demonstrated facilitation of organizational change management, particularly in a recently opened resort or property

L'Hôtel Pur, Québec, un hôtel Tribute Portfolio, recherche un directeur/directrice général pour superviser la propriété. Dans ce rôle, le directeur général crée et entretient un hôtel axé sur le client avec une vision qui inspire les associés à faire de leur mieux. Superviser le processus de qualité pour assurer la satisfaction de la clientèle en fournissant de manière cohérente la qualité du produit et du service conformément aux objectifs de rentabilité de l'hôtel.

Ce que vous ferez :

Effectuer des tâches administratives, y compris, mais sans s'y limiter : rédiger et présenter des rapports, communiquer avec les clients des propriétaires, les dirigeants de l'établissement, le siège social, les associations locales, etc. Examiner de manière critique et élaborer des stratégies pour tous les rapports de performance. Porter des jugements et mettre en œuvre des changements pour maximiser la rentabilité. Superviser l'élaboration et la révision du plan d'affaires, du budget annuel et des prévisions annuelles et mensuelles, etc. Formuler des rapports complexes et communiquer de manière proactive avec les propriétaires. Interviewer, embaucher, superviser et conseiller les responsables de département dans le fonctionnement efficace de leur(s) secteur(s) respectif(s). Rencontrer, élaborer et déléguer des plans d'amélioration pour le fonctionnement et évaluer les performances de l'équipe de direction. Collaborer avec les dirigeants sur les opportunités et la stratégie d'amélioration des performances. Former, recommander des évaluations de performance, résoudre les problèmes, assurer une communication ouverte et approuver la discipline et tous les licenciements. Participer aux affaires communautaires et maintenir une image publique positive pour l'hôtel, le restaurant et Crescent. Rencontrer les clients potentiels et actuels et promouvoir l'hôtel. Favoriser des relations communautaires positives et se comporter comme un ambassadeur de l'hôtel. Communiquer à la fois verbalement et par écrit pour fournir des directives claires à l'équipe. Visiter physiquement et inspecter visuellement la propriété quotidiennement. Surveiller le contrôle des coûts, l'état de la propriété, la propreté et la qualité des produits et services dans tout l'hôtel. Accueillir et entretenir des relations avec les associés et les clients. Communiquer les besoins de la propriété aux propriétaires avec la fréquence prévue. Voyager pour assister aux réunions d'entreprise, aux voyages de vente et siéger à des comités tels que le comité de recherche, de développement et de normes. Gérer de manière appropriée les problèmes des associés en collaboration avec les personnes et la culture conformément à la législation locale et aux politiques de Crescent. Accomplir toute autre tâche liée au poste qui lui sera assignée.

Compétences et aptitudes requises :

Au moins 3 ans d'expérience en tant que directeur général dans un hôtel à service complet. Personnalité autonome avec une disposition équilibrée et un esprit d'entreprise. Doit être prêt à « mettre la main à la pâte » et à aider ses collègues dans leurs tâches professionnelles et à être un joueur d'équipe. Penseur critique avec une connaissance approfondie des opérations hôtelières, y compris les plans marketing, les programmes de sécurité et de sûreté, le personnel et les relations de travail, la préparation de plans d'affaires, les réparations, la maintenance, les prévisions budgétaires, les programmes d'assurance qualité, le droit de l'hôtellerie et la planification à long terme. Compétences en leadership pour motiver et développer l'équipe et pour assurer la réalisation des objectifs. Capacité à créer des résultats positifs à fort impact avec les associés, nos clients et les investisseurs tout en soutenant véritablement les communautés que nous servons. Directeur général d'hôtel d'établissements indépendants à service complet, de style de vie, de boutique et/ou de luxe. Facilitation démontrée de la gestion du changement organisationnel, en particulier dans un complexe ou une propriété récemment ouvert
