Responsibilities
Install, set up adjust, and maintain equipment. Troubleshoot and do preventative maintenance on the plant, plant grounds, machinery, and equipment.
⢠Essential Functions
⢠Perform varied mechanical duties such as dismantling, moving, repairing and installing equipment
⢠Troubleshoot electrical problems on equipment and take steps to correct
⢠Start up and shut down equipment in line with company lockout â tag-out procedures
⢠Assist with installation and/or changes to the layout of machines and mechanical equipmentMechanical Aptitude: Effectively uses hand tools, basic power tools, and machine shop equipment.
Qualifications
⢠Must be a certified Industrial Millwright 433A
⢠Previous experience in the Automotive Industryâ¢
â¢Experience in Injection Molding and Assembly is preferred
⢠Effective communication skills are required
⢠Proficiency in Microsoft Suite is required for this position
⢠Willingness to work overtime when necessary
⢠Fabrication experience is an asset
⢠Welding experience is an asset
⢠Electrical experience is an asset
⢠Hydraulic experience is an asset
⢠Electrical Aptitude: Effectively uses electrical hand tools such as wire cutters, labelers, etc. to build panels and perform wiring tasks (no "hot work")
⢠Hydraulic Aptitude: Effectively applies knowledge of the use of fluids to perform mechanical tasks.
⢠Drawing Interpretation: Reads and interprets mechanical and electrical drawings for assembly or diagnostic.
