Role Summary Key Responsibilities

•    Design and develop front-end interface & back-end components/services for new and existing applications.
•    Build and maintain RESTful APIs to support front-end applications and integration with other systems.
•    Create serverless, Kubernetes-based applications.
•    Collaborate with business users and the development team in an Agile environment.
•    Participate in code review and performing extensive testing to ensure high-quality software.


 

Key Qualifications/Requirements

· Recognized post-secondary diploma or degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
· Able to communicate effectively. Strong presentation and demonstration skills.
· Keen eye for UX/UI details to create visually appealing applications that are elegant and easy to navigate.
· 5+ years of hands-on experience creating large scale, complex web applications using both front-end and back-end technologies.
· Languages: Java, PHP, Python, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, CSS3
· Frameworks: Laravel, Vue.js, React.js, Node.js, Express.js
· Databases: SQL, MongoDB
· Experience with developing and deploying software for on-premises and Azure cloud architectures.
· Strong understanding of REST and backend communication through API calls.
· Strong skills in the development of dashboards and reports via PowerBI
· Experience with implementing authentication mechanisms such as SAML 2.0 and SSO.
· Good understanding of version control and source code management using Git & TFS
