Creating and maintaining the litigation team's "target litigation timeline” and reporting on the same in bi-weekly file meetings
Communicating frequently and effectively with clients, the Tax Court, and opposing counsel so that all parties collaborate to move the matter faster
Drafting high-quality litigation and court documents (e.g., procedural timetables, affidavits, motion material) and serving and filing those documents in fewer days than set out in our "target litigation timeline”.
Gathering evidence, organizing the evidence, and delivering it to the litigation team in fewer days than set out in our "target litigation timeline”.
Finding new ways to contribute to the client's and the litigation team's success.
Have two years' experience working in tax controversy and litigation;
Are technologically confident and have a Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) certification or equivalent experience using Office
Give clients more confidence by expertly handling projects
You have litigation knowledge and experience and have a good handle on the Tax Court Rules
Experience scheduling examinations for discovery, helping to gather evidence and disclosure, and wrangling witnesses
