Your New Role

Reporting to the VP PM and working closely with the company President, you will be assigned a portfolio of commercial properties (inc. a retail strip centre in Maple Ridge, office and retail in Coquitlam). Your responsibilities include maintaining strong client and tenant relationships, anticipating and addressing their needs promptly, and ensuring excellent service standards. You will prepare budgets, review CAM billings and year end reconciliations, and monitor property operating statements to ensure alignment with the business strategy. With team support you will oversee operations/maintenance (inc. sustainability/energy management initiatives), as well as lease administration. Representing the company, you will lead negotiations with contractors and suppliers and assist in business development where possible. You’ll provide leadership, support, and training to staff where appropriate and take on other tasks as required (a more details job description will be provided).

What Sets You Apart

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of commercial property management experience, a valid Rental Property Management license or willingness to obtain one within six months. We are looking for a driven individual who takes pride in their work. A team player who can also work independently and take initiative without direction. Involvement in industry associations such as BOMA, CREW & NAIOP will be an asset and encouraged by the company. Excellent communication and organization skills are essential as is the ability to handle multiple deadlines and prioritize tasks accordingly. Professionalism, passion for success, and the ability to develop and maintain excellent client and tenant relations are crucial.
