Our client in the Legal Industry is looking for a full-time permanent Total Rewards Senior Manager to join their team This role is hybrid.

Reporting to the National Director of Talent Services, the Senior Manager of Total Rewards will offer strategic guidance, planning, and execution for all Total Rewards initiatives. This includes overseeing the governance, reporting, design, communication, compliance, and budgeting of payroll, compensation, benefits, and wellness programs and services.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Coaching and leading a team of 4 HR/Benefits employees
  • Ensures the effective planning and execution of all compensation programs and processes
  • Manages compensation-related activities, including participation in benchmark surveys, job evaluation, job architecture, market competitiveness analysis, salary structure recommendations, and wage grid management
  • Oversees payroll services management by offering support and guidance to the payroll team, and being capable of fully performing the payroll process as a backup
  • Oversees the relationship with benefits consultants and vendors
  • Evaluates the effectiveness of benefits offerings and provides advice on benefits plan design that aligns with market trends, business strategy and firm culture
  • Manages the service delivery and administration of the firm's benefits plans
  • Other duties as required

Qualifications and Skills

  • Post-Secondary Diploma or Degree in Business, Finance, or Human Resources
  • 8+ years of experience in implementing and managing compensation, payroll, pensions and benefits, wellness initiatives
  • Leadership experience, leading a team of 5+ employees
  • Holding or working towards a CEBS, CCP, CPP and/or HRPA designation will be considered an asset
  • Demonstrated commitment to and delivery of service excellence in all Total Rewards programs
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written
