The Operations Coordinator Class III Fleet & Equipment Coordinator supports United Traffic’s fleet, equipment and supply needs for our field team and clients in various industries including construction, paving and utilities. This role works in collaboration with the Director of Operations to ensure consistent and adequate fleet and equipment activities. This includes organizing and driving company vehicles for appointments, delivery of signs and equipment and conducting inventory counts.

FLEET & EQUIPMENT

· Ensure company vehicles are adequately stocked with necessary signs and equipment
· Coordinate routine maintenance and repairs for fleet vehicles
· Issue purchase orders with Director of Operations approval
· Schedule and conduct accurate inventory counts including fleet, office and warehouse
· Record and monitor inventory purchases, transfers, rentals, sales and loans
· Maintain cleanliness and organization in company spaces, including stock, damaged equipment, garbage and cardboard
· Install temporary and permanent signage on worksites
· Schedule and implement new vehicle builds (wrap, signage, etc)
· Examine traffic management plans to determine additional equipment required for jobs
· Secure additional equipment needed for special projects
· Utilize sub-contractors to meet the equipment needs of clients when necessary
· Monitor and report driving records, tickets & fines, claims and accidents
· Track fleet team pre-trip inspection reports completion
· ACCOUNT MAINTENANCE

· Coordinate with Dispatch, TMP and Sales, under the supervision of the Director of Operations, to determine needs with existing clients or field team members
· Analyze fleet & equipment data and prepare reports
· Answer calls and emails regarding fleet needs and equipment sales and rentals
· Communicate with clients, field and office teams in a timely-manner
· Report any abuse or policy violations to Director of Operations
· Attend Safety Meetings if required or discuss improvements that can be made to the Field Team
· Inventory accuracy within a certain metric
· Meet or exceed fleet and equipment budgets
· Timely completion of required fleet maintenance and recall appointments
· Reporting and presenting data
· Following company safety policies and procedures

Building and delivering metrics and reports
· Phone Etiquette
· Time-Management
· Strong organization and project management skills
· Solid experience Microsoft 365, Internet and PC
· Familiar with traffic control and lane closure processes, considered an asset
· Experience in office environment
· Experience with managing, reconciling and allocating inventory
· Mechanical aptitude, automotive and small hand tool knowledge
· Office-based
· Monday to Friday
· TIME: 9:00AM to 2:00PM, flexible based on business requirements
· PROBATION: 3 Months
· Medical & Dental available after 3 Months
