Schneider Electric Sales Operation Team has an outstanding opportunity for a passionate/motivated individual to assume a hybrid role of quotation and order execution in our Dollard-des-Ormeaux, Quebec location.

This position is accountable for preparation of quotations for Low and Medium voltage products while driving a high level of customer satisfaction through project execution. As an intern, the applicant will be expected to shadow our senior quotation and project managers in their daily tasks to resolve customer issues/challenges. The successful candidate will be able to analyze the needs of the customer and deliver a solution based on the customer's application requirements.

What will you do?

  • Review RFQ’s for clarity of request, suitability for Schneider Electric product offering, risk assessment, profitability, and time given to complete.
  • Work closely with quotation and project management team to ensure specification compliance and SE strategy alignment.
  • Review and match products to customer specifications and drawings by demonstrating knowledge of products.
  • Identify and promote opportunities to improve the quotation process and measure effectiveness.
  • Be the single point of contact for all internal and external customers throughout the life cycle of multiple orders.
  • Review purchase orders and quotation with Senior Project Manager to ensure clean order entry.
  • Convert orders based on PO requirements.
  • Diligently manage ‘change order’ process.
  • Continually monitor and effectively communicate order status to relevant parties.
  • Ensure customer deliverables have been satisfied to Schneider Electric terms and conditions.
  • Other duties as required.

  • Preferred Candidate: Spring/Summer 2024 Bachelor’s Degree Graduate in Electrical/Electronics (Preferred) / Mechanicalor relevant experience.
  • Internship and/or Work Experience: preferably 2 internships/co-op, work, and/or extracurricular experiences with different industries, businesses, and/or functions Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Detailed oriented and strong proof reading and communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Action oriented, proactive in prioritizing own work load.
  • Demonstrated success in time management, relationship building, collaboration, problem-solving, digital competency, and influence through leadership roles on campus, within a part-time job or internship, within a student or professional association, or course work.

  • Computer skills: Office365 (Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook, Teams)
