Collections Specialist

The Collection Specialist position is responsible for contacting NAM clients regarding the collection of past due payments. You will need to strike a balance between maintaining trustful relationships while ensuring payment of past due balances. The Collection Specialist should exhibit professionalism with excellent communication skills as well as the ability to work independently. You will work in close partnership with our account management and finance teams.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor weekly accounts receivable report to identify past due accounts and any follow-up and/or updates from previous communication
  • Contact appropriate client contacts regarding payment status including committed payment date
  • Identify and resolve any billing issues in partnership with account manager, account coordinator and/or finance team
  • Ensure AR report is updated with current status

Experience / Skills

  • Proven experience as a collection specialist or similar role
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
  • Working knowledge of Google Workspace preferred
  • Fully bilingual in English & French (strong preference)

Requirements

  • Duration of assignment is approximately six months
  • Position is remote based in Canada
