In this capacity this role will be the primary liaison between Operations and Information Technology, they will interact with various levels of management and at times will assist with training and knowledge transfer for operational staff.In order to perform the necessary responsibilities of this role, the Super User/ Operations Systems Analyst will develop a deep understanding of the setup, configuration, interfaces and internal process flows of all systems. The primary systems include Blue Yonder Warehouse Management System (WMS), Goods to Person pick execution system and Materials Handling system.Duties and responsibilitiesAct as internal SME regarding the functional capabilities of Shiseido’s WMS (Blue Yonder) platform and all connected systemsWill aggressively seek out bottlenecks in the fulfillment process and leverage system knowledge to make configuration changes or propose system enhancementsGather and document requirements for projects, enhancements and troubleshooting potential defectsProvide extensive testing of system enhancements prior to implementation to prevent service disruptionsLeverage understanding of WMS and MHE when physical or systemic changes to the warehouse are being consideredRun reports and provide critical analysis of business data for the Operations staffWill provide 1st level Go-Live and Production support for all application related issues through the ticketing systemWill serve as additional support for Training Program development and will support the Training Manager as needed, particularly as it relates to newly implemented processesIdentify opportunities to schedule / automate manual processes and improve proactive monitoring particularly in the area of helpdesk ticket preventionWork with IT partners and assist with the design of all labels, operational and metric reports, and data conversion plansWorking Relationships/Key Stakeholders: Member of Operations teamPeer to Operations SupervisorsLiaison between Operations and ITCorporate / Business PartnersQualifications & CompetenciesBA Degree or equivalent work experience2-5 years of related experience preferably in a pick pack/warehouse environmentGeneral understanding of WMS applications.Proficient use of Microsoft OfficePrior warehouse experience managing warehouse personnel and Operators is a plus.Good analytical skills, problem solving, and must be detail-orientedAbility to handle and perform multiple projects at one timeMust be able to meet deadlines while working in a fast-paced environmentPrior experience producing test scripts and performing Quality Control tests for software development projects a plusExperience configuring software solutions to meet business requirementsStrong ability to work with time/date deadlinesAbility to motivate and lead peopleStrong verbal and written communication skillsWe value the diversity of the people we hire and serve.
