Corrpro provides professional corrosion consulting and cathodic protection engineering services to major oil companies, government agencies, municipal water, sewer and gas utilities, universities, and public transportation agencies. Corrpro has complete construction installation services, including crews and equipment to install any cathodic protection system for any type of structure.WHAT YOU’RE RESPONSIBLE FOR:Open requisitions using Workday Recruit and confer with hiring managers to assess needs, identify key talent using traditional and innovative recruiting strategies, and create recruiting strategies for each positionPlace advertisements for open positions on various media sites and do sourcing on those sitesSource candidates, conduct phone screens, schedule interviews with hiring managers, present offers or other feedback to candidates, process candidate information through applicant tracking system and hand off to Human Resource Generalist for pre-employment testingAttend Career Fairs and other recruiting functions as neededDevelop and maintain strong working relationships with Corrpro Canada leaders, vendors, community organizations, and other team members to create a partnership that yields success, predictable results and credibilityCreate and foster relationships with colleges and diverse professional organizations to attract and recruit alumni and diverse candidatesDevelop an effective pipeline of key talent potentially available for immediate hire as succession planning needs dictateInformed of trends and innovative recruiting techniques to be competitive in state-of-the-art recruiting practicesMonitor retention of new hires and understand reasons for turnover in order to incorporate this in the recruitment/retention strategy.Participate in quality activities and continuous improvement initiatives in keeping with the company's Quality Management System.Coordinate on-boarding of new employees including pre-employment testing, arranging new hire and safety orientation, completion of new hire paperwork and coordinate with HR Generalist for the creation of employee in HR systemSupport the HR Generalist with other tasks and assignments as requiredQUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor Degree in Human Resources or equivalent experience4 years of recruiting experience requiredMust have knowledge of Provincial employment laws in Alberta, knowledge across Canada helpfulExcellent written and oral communication skillsStrong computer skills and experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, an ATS, LinkedIn and Indeed, Workday Recruit experience helpfulOccasional travel is required.
