Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

Experience with coding in a developing and client-facing role.
Master's degree, MBA, or other advanced degree.
Experience with internet video technologies (e.g. Digital Rights Management [DRM] solutions, video or audio codecs, live streaming, SFTP delivery, etc.).
Ability to absorb complex technical concepts and communicate them to a non-technical audience.
Excellent project management skills and attention to detail with the ability to work well in a cross-functional team environment.
As a Partner Technology Manager, you will be leading deployments, optimizing implementations, driving new business opportunities, and seeking innovative solutions aiming to build successful, long-term partnerships. You will have the opportunity to lead projects and cross-functional efforts (e.g., You'll manage technical engagements with media companies and be responsible for the ongoing success and satisfaction of portfolio of partners. You will also be instrumental in improving existing operations, commercializing new solutions, bridging product gaps, automating partner operations, and taking new initiatives from conception to deployment.

Perform implementation reviews, advocate for new product features and new internal tools, and ensure the prompt and proper resolution of technical challenges.
Guarantee the technical aspects of a partner’s integration (both new and ongoing) by providing the necessary documentation and technical guidance, andApply technical and project-management skills to make sense of masses of data, increasing YouTube’s value to partners all over the globe.
Identify, drive, and optimize the flow of existing and new business opportunities by leveraging YouTube technologies through prototyping and innovation.
Manage technical relationships across various content verticals. Work closely with Business Development teams as the technical expert helping to negotiate new agreements and empower partners to find success on YouTube.
