Lead UX/UI Designer

We are seeking a Lead UX/UI Designer with Unity design experience to join our team When you join Aequilibrium, you get to be a part of a fun and agile company driving innovative change in FinTech and VR. Who You Are
- Take ownership of medium-sized projects and ensure all work is delivered on time and to the highest standards.
- Participate in creative brainstorming sessions to develop and refine concepts.
- Mentor and guide junior designers as needed
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and techniques.
Must-Have Qualifications
- Create high-quality user interfaces and user experiences for Unity's products and services .
- Basic understanding of Unity engine and its capabilities.
- Ability to communicate with senior leaders and be client-facing
- Flexible and adaptable to learning new technology and platforms
- Experience creating user interfaces and user experiences for desktop, mobile, XR, cloud, and web applications.
- Bachelor's degree in graphic design, user experience, human-computer interaction, or related field.
- Minimum of 5+ years experience as a UX/UI designer.
- Work collaboratively with product managers, developers, and other designers to achieve project goals.
- Contribute to developing best practices and standards for UX/UI designers.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.

- Experience working in an organization going through IPO
Location
- This position will be remote
- Open to candidates outside of Canada but can work PST/EST time zone
- Open to Full Time or Contractors
